Vanguard University

Padua comes to Vanguard after serving three years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Fairmont Private Schools in San Juan Capistrano. She was in charge of managing and providing care to middle school Athletic Academy and high school student-athletes during strength and conditioning and sport specific training sessions, as well as practices and games – both during the pandemic and post-pandemic.

She also collaborated with the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fairmont to modify exercise programs for student-athletes, and developed policies and procedures for the day-to-day-operations of a newly established school.

Having received both her Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science (May 2015) and Master's in Athletic Training (May 2019) from Azusa Pacific, Padua began her career as a Physical Therapy Aide at DSC Performance Physical Therapy in San Clemente. She then spent nearly a year as a DSC Contracted Athletic Trainer for Saddleback Valley Christian Schools in San Juan Capistrano. Padua also has experience as a self employed Athletic Trainer for various athletic teams such as Strikers FC MLS Next and West Coast Wrestling.

She is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
