Ashley Southard graduated from the master's program at Vanguard in 2024 and was part of the dance team. During her three years of competition, Southard cheered at many home games and also helped launch the compeitive dance teav at VU. She and the squad had a great debut at the Battle in the Big Easy in New Orleans, and after moving to the National Dance Alliance championship route, Southard and company won the NAIA Pom Division National Championship. After graduating, Southard volunteered as an assistant coach during the 2024-2025 season for both the competition and spirit teams. Southard is looking forward to being able to be able to take role as the head coach of the sideline team and share her love for dance with her athletes.
