COSTA MESA, Calif. - Director of Soccer Randy Dodge has announced the dates for the 2013 VU Soccer 10th Annual Golf Tournament. Please join the Lions on April 19th at the Tijeras Creek Golf Course for an afternoon of golf and fellowship. Proceeds go to the VU soccer program.

COSTA MESA, Calif. – Seniors Kevin Cornwall (Dublin, Ireland), Samuel Nicholson (London, England) and Kyle O'Brien (Garden Grove, Calif.) collected All-Golden State Athletic Conference honors following the 2012 men's soccer season, while senior Chris Popke (Irvine, Calif.) earned recognition as an NAIA and GSAC Scholar-Athlete.

COSTA MESA, Calif. – No. 4 seed Vanguard took on fifth seed Hope International in the first round of the Golden State Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament on Wednesday afternoon on the VU Soccer Field. The Lions had won the previous two regular season contests 1-0 (OT) and 4-2 but the sweep was not in the cards as the Royals upset the Blue and Gold when it counted by the slim margin of 1-0.

NAIA No. 7-ranked Concordia earned its third GSAC Championship in men's soccer and will be the No. 1 seed in the 2012 GSAC Tournament. San Diego Christian will be the No. 2 seed and will participate in postseason play for the first time since joining the GSAC in 1999. Biola will be the No. 3 seed and Vanguard will be No. 4. Hope International earned the No. 5 seed by winning the tiebreaker with The Master's, which will be seeded No. 6.
