POMONA, Calif. - Vanguard's men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Carl Rossi Relays hosted by Claremont McKenna College on Saturday, February 28th. Joi Goynes (SR/Las Vegas, NV) placed third overall in the women's 100 meters and five more personal bests were set, marking the three straight weekends with personal records falling.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The combined track teams from Vanguard competed at the Westmont Sunshine Indoor Open Meet on Saturday. Despite it being a wet and soggy day, the Lions found success with a new school record being set and many personal bests.

LAWRENCE, Kans.Josh Espinoza (SR/Glendale, AZ), Zach Hunt (SO/Sparks, NV) and Marline Estell (SR/San Marcos, CA)'s hard work culminated on Saturday at Rim Rock Farm in the 2014 NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships, as Vanguard's three individual qualifiers raced for the shot at a national title.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Three Vanguard runners raced their way into the NAIA Cross Country National Championship Meet at the Golden State Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday. Josh Espinoza (SR/Glendale, AZ) and Zach Hunt (SO/Sparks, NV) finished second and fifth, respectively, in the men's 8k, while Marline Estell (SR/San Marcos, CA) was the top performer for the VU women with her ninth-place mark in the 5k.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The 2014 GSAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be hosted by The Master's College at Central Park in Santa Clarita tomorrow, Saturday, November 8th. The women's 5,000 meter race will begin at 9:00 am followed by the men's 8,000 meter race at 9:45 am.
