The athlete: Paige returns to the court for the Lions in 2011-2012, after redshirting the prior season…three-time team captain for VUSC, but hurt her knee in the preseason of 2010…has played in 97 career games for the Blue and Gold, making 40 starts…averaged five points and three rebounds per game as a junior…led the team in blocks, with 15…has 71 steals in 97 career games…played in 33 of Vanguard's 35 games as a sophomore in 2008-09, starting five of those contests…was second on the team in blocks, with 22…played a big role on the 2008 National Championship team, starting 24 games and playing in all 34…averaged 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game and was tied for the team lead with 12 blocked shots…came to the Lions from the successful Oregon City High School in Oregon City, Oregon…played for coaches Brad Smith and Kurt Guelsdorf in the Three Rivers League…an All-Conference performer that ranks third in school history in assists…has played basketball for 15 years…also played five years of club for Team Concept…possesses a very high basketball IQ…multi-dimensional player who knows how to win… will lead the Lions as a senior this winter.

Senior Reflection: I loved winning the National Championship as a freshman, and I hope I left a mark on peoples' lives spiritually, as they see my love for Christ.
