Hello Friends!

Finals week is officially in full affect.  For most of us, it is the week of running on coffee, being stressed beyond belief, and fighting the impulsive urge to drop out of college.  I wanted to share with you guys a small technique I use to calm my anxiety and stress.  It doesn't necessarily have to be for finals, it could really be for any stressful time in your life. I found its actually quite popular, but in case you haven't heard of it... It's called "The Pause."

PORTLAND, Ore. – Vanguard (6-1) moved head on into its second straight out of state trip this preseason and did what it was supposed to. The sixth ranked team in the NAIA walked by Warner Pacific (2-5) by an 87-52 count on Bart Valentine Court. Maya Kennedy led all scorers posting a season high 26 points on a deadly 7-13 from behind the arc. Claire Lamunu continued to do her thing notching a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. She would be one of three Lions to achieve that feat on the glass.

As we approach the end of the semester, I am really in crunch time mode. Being a student-athlete not only requires me to perform well on the court, but also in the classroom. I have always been good at balancing my schoolwork with my gym time and other activities. I wouldn't say that I'm stressing out with all the work I have to get done, but man I can't wait till we get on winter break!
