COSTA MESA, Calif. –Vanguard tallied three second half goals en route to its seventh shut-out victory of the season on Saturday. The twelfth-ranked Blue and Gold bested Rocky Mountain (Mont.) (RV) via scores from Veronica Aguilar (SR/Los Angeles, CA), Madison Cody (JR/Irvine, CA) and Jennifer Martin (SR/La Mirada, CA) to complete its preseason with a 7-0-1 overall record.

COSTA MESA, Calif.Jennifer Martin (SR/La Mirada, CA) scored Vanguard's game-winner on Tuesday as the Lions took down Marymount California on the VU Soccer Field 2-0. Madison Lopp (FR/Anaheim, CA) registered the Lions' second goal, while goalkeeper Lauren Terry (SR/Corona, CA) picked up The Pride's fifth shut-out victory of the year.

COSTA MESA, Calif. –In recent years, the Vanguard and Master's volleyball rivalry has earned a reputation for being highly competitive. Saturday evening was no different, as the Golden State Athletic Conference foes met in The Pit for a five-set battle. The Lions eventually emerged as the victor (25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 15-12), moving to 12-4 overall and 1-1 in GSAC play.

COSTA MESA, Calif. – No. 12 Vanguard was relentless on Saturday against Bethesda, notching 18 goals to improve to 5-0-1 on the season. Freshman Madison Lopp (FR/Anaheim, CA) scored four goals for The Pride on the afternoon. The Lions' 18 goals gave the 2014 squad a school record for most goals scorer in an opening half, most goals scored and largest margin of victory.
