Tradition Never Graduates

As a Vanguard University Alumni or family member, I would like to indicate how much you are valued and appreciated for your loyalty to Vanguard University and Lions Athletics.  I want for you to reflect on your experience at Vanguard University.  Recall the opportunities that were presented to you to grow and mature, the athletic competition, the relationships you developed, and the feeling of accomplishment during the graduation ceremony.  I know most of you believe that your experience at Vanguard was special.

For us to continue our quest to provide a SIGNIFICANT experience for each of our current and future student athletes, we have implemented the tradition for our Athletic Alumni and parents to Invest in Gold. 

Your investment is three fold:
1. A financial investment to provide funds that will allow us the opportunity to continue to provide competitive excellence.  Contributions enable teams to obtain much needed enhancement items not always included in annual budgets.  Your investment and support can help our teams reach a new level of success.
2. An investment in the spiritual formation of our current and future student athletes.  Our focus of Gold Pride exemplifies the core values that emulate the character qualities of Christ.
3. A personal investment to help secure and advance the positive traditions that you were a part of establishing while at Vanguard University and to continue to be engaged in as a member of the Vanguard University Athletic Family.

Your contribution to Invest in Gold will make this happen!!! 

Great strides have been made in our pursuit of excellence both academically and athletically, while having student athletes that represent character with a standard higher than victory.  The current success and growth of the Vanguard University Athletic Program has created a need for additional outside funding.

The expense of an education at Vanguard University is significant but the value of your investment is priceless.  We are asking you to continue to invest in the success of the Vanguard University Athletic Program.  You had a role in our current success, and by Investing in Gold you will help us move toward our ultimate goal, to be the best in the GSAC, and among the elite in the NAIA.

To Invest in Gold we would like to suggest a $5.00 per week financial commitment toward Lions Athletics.  This would amount to a total of $240.00 per year.  However, the most important thing is that you continue to be connected and engaged in the VU Athletic Program.  Any financial commitment will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for continuing the tradition to be our teammate.
