Last year, Vanguard University Athletics launched a new avenue for telling the stories of our talented student-athletes. One member from each class has been selected and will be posting a blog of their experience once a month throughout the year. The individuals selected were nominated by their respective coaches and athletic staff members. Vanguard Athletics hopes you enjoy our student-athletes' lives off the court as much as watching them compete!
This year, the chosen bloggers are Morgan Tapia (SR/Riverside, CA) (SR/Eastville, CA) from women's cross country and women's track & field, Dani Erdelatz (SO/Stockton, CA) from Vanguard's newest team beach volleyball, Isaias Reyes (JR/Los Angeles, CA) from the men's soccer team, and Josyln Beliera from softball. They will rotate and take turns writing a blog post once every four weeks and it will be stationed at the Student-Athlete Blog home on the Vanguard website. Click here for the home page or find it by navigating through the website "Inside Athletics" > "Fan Zone" > "Student-Athlete Blogs". This previous Sunday, Morgan Tapia kicks things off in style and we invite you to check it out if you havent had a change to view it!
Last season, a representative from women's soccer, women's basketball, men's basketball, and volleyball did amazing things with their blog posts. To catch up and read all about Maddy Slade, Kaitlyn Hawthorne (JR/Reno, NV), Christian Ware-Berry, and Rory McCly's experience, click here.
