COSTA MESA, Calif. - After leading off the recruiting cycle with four new members of Vanguard Women's Track and Field, Caleb Myers pens his name on his letter of intent and solidifies himself as the first new member of the Lions on the men's side. He will join the Blue and Gold out of Brea Olinda High school. The Fullerton native holds personal bests of 2:01 in the 800m, 4:36 in the 1600m, and 9:42 in the 3200m. On the cross country side of the equation, he runs the three-mile in 15:11.
"We are thrilled to have Caleb joining the Pride. He is a very talented runner who is passionate about our great sport and willing to work hard. Caleb is strong in his faith and will be a fantastic teammate," head coach Bryan Wilkins said immediately after Caleb's signing on campus. "We are blessed and honored Caleb chose to be a Lion!"
